US President Donald Trump’s administration pressed forward with plans to impose tariffs on semiconductor and pharmaceutical imports by initiating trade probes led by the Commerce Department. Earlier, Trump said said he’s considering temporary tariff exemptions on imported vehicles and auto parts.
