Dan Ives, Wedbush Securities managing director, discusses the state of the tech sector amid US Presidentย Donald Trumpโs tariff announcements. Speaking on Bloomberg Television, Ives says levies in their current form are “untenable.” He also adds that a decoupling of US tech from the China market is not possible. “For the first time in 30 years, the US tech is ahead of China and what you’re essentially doing with these tariffs, you’re cutting the knees of US tech, sending it back years,” Ives tells Bloomberg Television. ——–
