White House Slams Senator Hollen’s El Salvador Trip| Accuses Kilmar Abrego Garcia Of Gang Ties| N18G

The White House strongly criticized Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen for traveling to El Salvador to support Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran man who was mistakenly deported and is now held in a notorious prison. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt accused Abrego Garcia of being affiliated with the MS-13 gang and insisted he is not a Maryland resident, contradicting claims made by his lawyers. Patty Morin, whose daughter was murdered by another Salvadoran man, also condemned Van Hollen’s visit. Senator Van Hollen stated that he was denied access to Abrego Garcia by Salvadoran authorities. Abrego Garcia, who fled gang violence in El Salvador at age 16, was granted protection to live in the U.S. in 2019 and has no criminal record, according to his legal team. He is among hundreds deported under the Trump administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, often without trial or concrete evidence. #whitehouse #senatorhollen #elsalvador #kilmarabregogarcia #gangties #uspolitics #centralamerica #breakingnews #politicalnews #internationalrelations Moneycontrol is India’s leading financial portal, offering market news, expert analysis, and powerful tools.
